On the morning of January 10, India's newly inaugurated ambassador to China Gautam Bambawale, India's Deputy Chief of Mission in China Shri Amit Narang and others visited the Pangoal Institution, and had a round table discussion on the Prospects of China-India Relations with President of the Pangoal Institution Yi Peng and many scholars and experts from the Pangoal Institution. This is the first time for the Indian Ambassador to China Gautam Bambawale to have visited a non-governmental think tank in China since he presented his credentials to President Xi Jinping. The two parties held a frank four-hour talk on the subjects including China-India Relations, Economic and Trade Cooperation as well as People-to-people Exchanges between the two countries. The two parties reached consensus on the fact that a rational, objective and inclusive attitude is fundamental to a long-term friendly relationship between the two countries.
