Director Yi Peng was invited to become the member of the Board of Director of the CPAPD

On April 2, 2019, the 10th Joint Meeting of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) and the 3rd Board of Directors Meeting was held in Beijing. More than 200 people attended the meeting, including the leaders of the 10th meeting, the 3rd Board of Directors and the representatives of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government (LOCPG). During the meeting, Yi Peng, the chairman of the Pangoal Institution, was invited to become the new member of the Board of Director of the CPAPD.

Han Qide, the president of the ninth meeting, Ma Biao, the president of the 10th meeting and Song Tao, the head of LOCPG, delivered a speech at the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Wang Yajun, the adviser of CPAPD and deputy director of the LOCPG, and Yu Hongjun, the senior adviser of the Pangoal Institution, gave a work report at the meeting. Zhou Li, the vice president of the CPAPD and the senior advisor of the Pangoal Institution, explained the change to the Board of Director, the reelection of the Board of Directors and the amendment of the Constitution of the association, and read out the list of leaders, executive directors and directors of the new session. The assembly adopted the report on the leadership work of the Ninth Session of the Council and the institutional adjustment, the re-election of the Council, and the revision of the Articles of Association. Additionally, the assembly made further work planning programs for safeguarding world peace and seeking social development.
